I am a digital media marketing professional with over 11 years commercial digital marketing and front end web development experience. I am an advocate of social media and work as a digital marketing consultant for Surefire Media where I plan and execute activities for a varied range of clients. During my career I have worked with a large variety of clients in many different sectors, from local SME’s through to major multinational software houses and component manufacturers.
I devour social media news and like to keep up with all of the latest research and thinking and on a professional level, I practice what I preach and am actively involved in executing, managing and evaluating strategic marketing activities on a daily basis. I believe that social media is a highly effective branding, SEO and CRM tool that most businesses can benefit from, depending on the market they operate within.
The purpose of my blog is to provide practical advice and insights into social media, as well as to share and discuss interesting articles and research from key opinion leaders in the field. I will also discuss UX and graphic design related topics from time to time as this is also a keen area of professional and personal interest to me.
